Since 2016, the liqueur has been produced using the same recipe as in 1871.
Jefferson Amaro Important. The story goes that after surviving the shipwreck, he found refuge in the old customs warehouse (Vecchio Magazzino Doganale).
It was he who had selected and collected citrus fruits, aromatic spices and herbs from all over Calabria.
Today all of this is once again authentically reproduced, with great attention to detail.
Bergamot, sweet and sour oranges, rosemary and oregano are the basic and natural ingredients of Calabria.
Combined with other herbs and spices, they make Jefferson unique.
